The Cause: Nine women a day are diagnosed with breast cancer in New Zealand. This year the money raised from our breakfast/brunch will be used to fund lifesaving research and support breast cancer patient’s right here in New Zealand. A bit about your hosts: We are the women behind the Southland Sharks Basketball team... We come together for about 3 months every year from all over Australasia and we want to have brunch with you! We saw the Pink Ribbon breakfast month as an awesome opportunity to raise money for an important cause and one close to our hearts (Literally!). We get to throw a beautiful event, come together as a team like our men do and also give back to a city and community that are always so inviting to us as visitors and short-term residents. The Boobie brunch deets: This year we have gone for a brunch more than a breakfast to catch all the Sunday brunchers (We also love a good sleep in), we have local businesses contributing to a fun morning of food, glamour and entertainment.
