Result: SBS Southland Sharks (118) defeat Property Brokers Manawatū Jets (100)
The SBS Southland Sharks had finally regained the form they were seeking at the start of the season. While the Jets were coming off a tough loss to the Nuggets and hoping to get a win from this southern roadtrip. Initially it would be the Kaden Sand show. The SF would go off for 15 points in the first quarter to keep the Jets in the game. In the second, the Sharks would be able to slow him down while Caleb Asberry and Keylan Boone would fuel the offence. Jamal Poplar Jr and Kazlo Evans Jr would put some points on the board but the shooting of the Sharks from the perimeter would carry the game out of reach for the visitors.

For the Sharks, they were looking to get their first win of the season at home against a Jets team who were playing their second game in three days. The Jets had some solid firepower on the roster and they'd show that in this game. Boston Caldwell was making a case for Rapid League MVP as he'd fuel the Jets into a 35-27 win.
