NBL Sunday Shootaround

It wasn't always pretty, but in the end the SKYCITY NZ Breakers made the plays down the stretch in a come-from-behind win over the Brisbane Bullets at Spark Arena this afternoon, including a little Shark on Shark love!

Reubs may have been on the receiving end of the Chief backhand , but it wasn't all one way traffic. He dropped a hammer of his own in the 4th!

For those keeping score that's now a nine-win, 42-day streak for the Breakers. Read all about it here:

Here are the game highlights, featuring some monster second half plays.

Last night, Nick Kay and Mitch Norton made the tough trip to Cairns and were on the receiving end of an 87-66 drubbing. That didn't stop Nick recording a tireless double-double.

Now we hit the FIBA World Cup qualifying window with the Tall Blacks lining up against Korea in Wellington on Thursday and away to Hong Kong on Sunday, while the Boomers travel to Chinese Taipei on Friday before returning to Adelaide to take on Japan next Monday.

Good luck to all our Sharks and we'll keep you updated all week long.

And, in what is becoming a custom, we'll leave the last word to Chief
