Result: SBS Bank Southland Sharks (103) defeat Wheeler Motor Company Canterbury Rams (98)

This match between the 2nd and 3rd seed would be one of depth. The Sharks missing MVP candidate Sam Timmins and the Rams missing their MVP candidates in Taylor Britt and Tamenang Choh, all to international window commitments. Despite the Rams missing premier point guard Taylor Britt, the offence was flowing. Walter Brown took up the mantle and would lead the game in assists with 10, while Jack Andrew continued his dominance performance from last week shooting 81% from the field for 22 points. However, despite the Rams taking the lead in both the first and third quarter, it would be Keylan Boone, Rylan Jones and the Sharks pulling the load and outscoring the Rams in both the second and fourth, which ultimately, would be the downfall of the visiting side who put up a valiant effort.
