New name added to Sharks as Wynyard signs

A new face in town! Tautoko Wynyard has signed on to throw an Orange singlet for the 2026 season. After a season with the Manawatu Jets, Wynyard proved he can make a difference on the court!

“I’m looking forward to learning from the coaches and my teammates. I want to challenge myself, improve every day, and be part of a team that pushes for success,” Wynyard said.

Coach Jonathan Yim is looking forward to getting to work with his newest recruit. “I’m looking forward to helping Tautoko develop and get where he wants to go. He fits the identity of this group — tough, competitive, and team-first.”
